Tuff Truck Competition Rules
The Tuff Truck track will consist of hills, obstacles and mud bog pits. Every driver will be given 3 runs to try to obtain the fastest time
.General Rules:
All drivers must be 18 years or older and have a valid drivers license.
NO ALCOHOL allowed! Any driver caught drinking will be disqualified.
No Passengers allowed.
5 mph in staging and pit area at all times, NO TEST RUNNING!
All drivers are required to attend the drivers meeting.
All trucks are required to have a working fire extinguisher (well-secured)
All batteries, and fuel cells (gas tanks) must be well-secured.
Seat belts are required – 4 point harness is recommended. (a neck brace is also recommended)
D.O.T. approved helmet is required.
All trucks must have a drivers side window or a safety net.
All vehicles without a hardtop, is required a roll cage securely mounted.
No blowers, nitrous oxide or super charge engines allowed, no oxygen burning fuels.
Drive shaft loops are highly recommended.
Neutral Safety switches are required.
All objects must be securely mounted in vehicle. Any loose objects thrown or dropped out during run could result in disqualification.
Drivers head must not protrude above cage with helmet on and strapped in seat.
All vehicles must have some type of protective barrier between the driver and the motor, transmission, cooling system battery and tires. Rigid and complete floorboards are required.
Street class is allowed 1 motor mod only.
40" or under tires only!
All trucks must have a secure place in the front and rear to attach towing devices to. If they are not visible, track officials hook to whatever is sticking out.
All trucks MUST have good working brakes!
All trucks must be structurally sound and considered capable of completing the course.
Completing the tuff truck obstacle course
The Contest will be governed by the Albright Shores Staff, all decisions are final.
A tech may re-inspect any vehicle at any time and refuse any competitor.
A driver will be lined up and cannot start his / her run until given the go by the track official. Any driver that starts without the o.k. will be disqualified.
All trucks must come to a complete stop at the end of his or her run and wait for a go signal from the finish line. Any driver that does not stop will be disqualified.
Drivers must complete the entire course as designed by track officials to be given a completed time – all others will be given a distance.
Knocking down any designated course markers will result in a 5 second penalty or receive NO TIME (depending on severity). Distance will be marked.
Reruns will not be allowed unless failure to complete the course is a direct result of the track official.
Driving in this
Event understand that traveling off-road entails some inherent risks. These risks occur as a result of traveling on rugged, and off camber terrain, forces of nature, and conduct of persons not affiliated with the event sponsors. As a result of these conditions, there is a potential for harm to you and your vehicle or others. The event sponsors do not assume any liability for the event participants and their actions. Your insurance may not compensate for any losses due to the nature of your activities. Medical services or facilities may not be readily accessible during some or all of the time in which you are participating in an event arranged by the Event Sponsors. As a participant, you are solely responsible for judging your own qualifications, actions and safety during any of the activities in which you choose to participate. As a participant, you agree to this waiver and the following the rules/regulations of the event No Harassing Judges or event staff.
